Mookie Betts ‘clearly on the radar’ for Boston Red Sox

OAKLAND, Calif. — Friday night, in a small town called Moosic in the eastern part of Pennsylvania (population just more than 5,000), Mookie Betts stepped up the plate with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning, worked a 10-pitch at-bat against former MLB All-Star Heath Bell and roped a two-run single to lead the Pawtucket Red Sox to a dramatic win.
